For what appears to be the first time since 2010, the top two most played games on Xbox Live are not both Call of Duty Titles. Major Nelson released the most played games list for the week ending May 21st, and Minecraft has come in second, knocking Black Ops down to third. The last game to knock a CoD title out of the top two was Halo: Reach, in September of 2010. Unsurprisingly also, Minecraft sits atop the Arcade best sellers list, by what I can only assume is a ridiculously large margin over Trials Evolution.

Minecraft for PC also hit 6 million total sales in the last week, while a tweet from Notch stated that total sales for the game (Including iOS, Android and XBL) is just over 9 million.
