GamersUN TF2 tournament?

Have there ever been any GamersUN tournaments of any sort?
I think it'd be pretty fun to just make a team of people who play on GamersUN server and have a round robin or something that isn't on the level of competitive TF2.

Is there even any interest in this?

We havent run a tournament so to speak - we have run events that have invited our public players to sign up & join such as the recent Spy Double Agent event & the Aus vs NZ Battle over the Ditch!

Keen to get ideas from the community so feel free to elaborate on your thinking!

I was thinking that members would form small teams with people they know from the forum, or play on GamersUN servers they frequent, and compete in a tournament, on a (random?) map.
Just an idea at this stage, but if enough people are interested I'd be keen to help develop it a little more.

Yeah mate - the intention was to make it an annual event - but if the interest is there - we could definitely do it more often!!

The Battle Over the Ditch is where GamersUN gets a bunch of random Pubbers, from both New Zealand and Australia, and pits them against each other.
The last Battle Over the Ditch was won by New Zealand, probably because Rocky decided to destroy everybody.
